Lit Moon Theatre Company

I have worked with the Lit Moon Theatre Company for the past six years, and I have enjoyed every challenge, journey, and production. Over the past 18 years this small experimental company has shaped, crafted, and nearly perfected the art of collaboration through ensemble work. Conversations run deep and long as the various members seek to find the artistic voice for each production they create. The members in the company, from artistic director to interns, have a strong voice in the artistic process allowing for strong bonds to develop among its members. The family that has developed over the years has shaped the way I view the collaborative process in the theatre. I would like to see this similar kind of collaboration occur in the various avenues of the Havenworth project. The big question continually plaguing my thoughts is whether or not a Performing Arts Center with the projected magnitude I have envisioned will be capable of developing a network of collaborators that function as a family. Perhaps another question I ought to reflect upon and discuss is what exactly I mean by "family," but this will have to wait for another blog.
