I was checking in on our friends from Praxis Theatre up in Canada, and I found some more helpful information for theatre artists and theatre goers. The most recent blog posted on April 28th "Free heatre Producer's guide" has a link to what else but a producer's guide. Granted this is focused toward theatre in Canada, but I think at its core the article has value for all community based theatre...whether local or international.
I wanted to see if I could find a producer's guide to theatre in the US, so I went to google and punched in "free theatre producers guide, usa." I came across Theatre USA. Not exactly what I was looking for, but this sight offers a great list of theatre websites! But don't look for too much more from the site yet, as it does not have very many playwright or production websites. In fact it looks as though the site is relatively new. I'll do some digging and let you know what I find out...regardless, in the listing of theatre websites you will find the theatre I will be working at this summer New Century Theatre in Northampton, MA.
