Mac Book Pro

A beautiful piece of machinery...!

I purchased a MacBook Pro on Saturday! I have wanted my own Mac for about 10 years now, but when I could finally afford a computer, I had to buy a PC because I needed to run some Diabetic software that couldn't run on a Mac. Well, now the grad school program I am attending at UMASS has given me $2,000 to spend on a new computer (I will have to pay the money back later, but at least I have the money available to buy it now). It is such a great computer, and I can't wait to put it to the test with the VectorWorks Design program that I will be picking up in a couple of weeks. It just doesn't get much better (well it could if I had $10,000 and could buy my dream super computer...:)

What streamlined packing...!

Does it get any better?

Oh it does...I also got an hp Photosmart C4480 and an iPod Touch with 8GB of memory for free, I didn't have to pay any sales tax on the computer or the extras, and I got a 10% discount for being a student. All in all a $3500 system for $2500!!! What an awesome week for me, and before it ends I might have a baby girl in my arms while I play on my new computer!!!!!!!!!

As the crow flies many...many months. I do not imagine I will be back until at least a year from this upcoming Christmas....unless something unforeseen and important should come up...What do you miss me already?
