Here is what I have to say in regards to the blog post about prosecuting Bush and others for war crimes. I wonder...is it ever too little too late? Why weren't we seeking this kind of action against George W. Bush in 2001 when he announced war on terror? Why was it okay for us to seek and destroy those that offended and caused awful atrocities to happen? Are we now any different than those that attacked us on September 11, 2001? If we allowed Bush to act as he has and does for the past 7 years by saying yes to his actions and words, what right do we have to turn around now and say no? We are as much at fault for his actions as he is...is this not a democratic country? Don't we have the ability to chose who is and is not in office? Where was our voice 2 years ago, 5 years ago, 8 years ago?
I am in no way saying what he has done is right, but we allowed these things to happen or at least most of us did by not vocalizing our disgust through phone calls, e-mails, letters, and more. So, how can we blame him for choices he made with a country that appeared to back his decisions until the last year of his office?

Jonathan You said, "Where was this conference against war crimes last year, 3 years ago, or in 2002 when we were killing hundreds of people everyday?"
Well these types of discussions have been going on for quite a while. There is another commission who has been trying to get Bush prosecuted for a lot longer. Two years ago to be exact. The Bush Crimes Commission.
And I am sure there are many others. Have you noticed that there is no media coverage of this? The mass media is full of propaganda, and lies. Do some looking, google war crimes and George Bush. You will come up with a lot more stuff than just this.
Back in 2004 A citizens' tribunal in Tokyo found U.S. President George W. Bush guilty of war crimes for attacking civilians with indiscriminate weapons and other arms during the U.S.led anti-terrorism operations in Afghanistan in 2001. Citizens find Bush guilty of Afghan war crimes
This wanting him brought to trial for genocide and war crimes is nothing new. There is just a media blackout on it.
Figures...I hate propaganda!...I recently read a couple articles in The New Yorker about Bush, Iran and the secret campaign that will drive Iran to start a fight (for lack of better words). Millions of dollars being spent on this campaign, which would only increase the list of war crimes and genocide. Perhaps I ought to keep my comments more personal...that "I" have not made my voice heard or taken any action, but I still can't help but notice that the voices that are speaking out are not speaking loud enough for change to occur.
You are right about a campaign for war with Iraq and yes more war crimes more genocide. I still think though the only reason it seems that people aren't speaking out is the lack of media coverage.
